Your Secret Recipe To The Perfect Silky Smooth Butter Chicken

Have you ever planned a get together where you wondered what's that one recipe that will win hearts and found yourself perplexed because all you could think about is biryani which is again the same usual main course recipe that every other person makes. Unlike others, I'm not a die-hard fan of briyawni or whatever whitewashed tone you use to call it. Matter of fact I don't even understand the hype. anyways biryani isn't a big deal either if you are a Hyderabadi like me. So this is where the butter chicken comes into picture.  Butter chicken is one of the latest introductions to the Indian cuisine, must be some decades old and not more. Its sweet as well as tangy taste of onions and tomatoes, the burnt aroma of grilled chicken and the richness of cashews and cream. A perfect blend of all the goodne...

DIY Bottle Lamp | Room Decor Ideas

Every day millions of bottles get discarded and I wonder how many get recycled. Plastic bottles can always be reused or recycled. Although glass bottles can be used in the long run for daily use purposes, they can be better used for room decor or home & garden decoration. Pairing my obsession for pink with whatever I could easily find at home, I used a glass bottle to make a simple decorative piece for room decor that could as well be used as a night lamp. All you need is:

-A glass bottle
-thin yarn
-washi tapes
-trim border lace
-UHU Glue
-a small bulb with switch
-a pair of scissors

1. Your glass bottle should be thoroughly washed, dried and the outer surface should be cleaned.
2. Start by winding the neck of the bottle with yarn and secure the ends with just a drop of UHU glue.
3. Choose a matching pair of washi tapes rather any color in contrast to the color of the bottle will look prettier.
4. In the center, wrap your lovely trim border lace preferably white or black since the light filtering through the laces will shadow clear-cut aesthetic designs.
5. Attach a small bulb on the inside of the cap of the bottle using UHU glue and place the switch box beside the bottle on your bedside table.

This is a quick and simple DIY lamp. If you wish to adorn it with more embellishments, then go ahead with adding more creativity using pearls, studs, charms, glitter, and sequins and make it as creative and exquisite as you can.
