Your Secret Recipe To The Perfect Silky Smooth Butter Chicken

Have you ever planned a get together where you wondered what's that one recipe that will win hearts and found yourself perplexed because all you could think about is biryani which is again the same usual main course recipe that every other person makes. Unlike others, I'm not a die-hard fan of briyawni or whatever whitewashed tone you use to call it. Matter of fact I don't even understand the hype. anyways biryani isn't a big deal either if you are a Hyderabadi like me. So this is where the butter chicken comes into picture.  Butter chicken is one of the latest introductions to the Indian cuisine, must be some decades old and not more. The idea initially started when someone decided to add their leftover chicken tikka from last night to a simple yet freshly prepared gravy of onions and tomatoes. Its sweet as well as tangy taste of onions and tomatoes, the burnt aroma of grilled chicken and the richness of cashews and cream. A perfect blend of all the goodne...

Girls Be Knowing Well The Pain Of Faded Henna. Here's A Remedy That Is 100% Effective

It's not even been that long after Eid and my henna started to fade. Like every other girl, I either want my henna perfectly done in red (which you normally achieve on the first two days) or I want my hand to be clean and immaculate, there's no in-between. Someone said they are looking like connect-the-dots picture DAANG girl! because that's exactly how even I'd describe it.

So last night I tried to remove my faded henna. Several times I tried to use half a lime rubbed on hand with some baking soda but alas that didn't work. so I thought rather than looking up on the internet and ruining my delicate skin I'd rather combine a few ingredients and try to work with it. I knew that these exact two ingredients were very helpful in removing any kind of stains or rust. Not that my hands are metal or something but I contemplated trying it on my hands. And OH BOI! the results amazed me. I took a few snaps of before and after and put up on my Instagram story and my DMs flooded asking for the remedy. So here it is. All you'll need is:

➤1/2 tsp of baking soda
➤1/2 tsp of any toothpaste
➤a small cup
➤a few drops of water
➤a wet wipe/towel

1. You'll have to mix the two ingredients in the cup until it becomes a thick paste.

2. Add a few drops of water if you want and using a towel/wipe, in a circular motion rub the henna design.

3. You can also leave it for some time then slowly start scrubbing the area, then wash it off with water.

NOTE:
❥Baking soda is a strong agent and it can cause itching and a burning sensation for some. So apply a small area for testing, leave it for a few minutes to check for the reaction.
❥If your henna doesn't completely get removed in one go then after washing your hands, wait for an hour or so then go for round two.
❥This remedy works better if your henna design is 4-5 days old but you can also use it for removing henna after immediately applying it.
